Dr Rajesh Brijball

Dr Rajesh works in the public and private sectors. Most of his work is done at the Wesley, St Andrews, Brisbane Private and Holy Spirit Hospitals.

It is at the Wesley Hospital where he practices anaesthesia for Robotic Surgery in both Upper GI and Colo-Rectal disciplines.
In his public capacity, he works at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s hospital where he is involved with the teaching of Registrars (future anaesthetic specialists) and medical students. In addition, Dr Brijball is a senior lecturer at the University of Queensland and has co-authored several research publications.
At present he is involved with the Dept of ITEE of the University of Queensland in researching Robotics and Medicine.
Dr Brijball is currently a senior examiner with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists and a member of the final examination sub-committee which sets out the standard of the exam for the new specialists.
