Dr Steven Cook
Specialist Anaesthetist

Dr Cook graduate with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1997 from University of Queensland. His postgraduate Anaesthetic Training was completed at the Nepean Hospital, Penrith Sydney and Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, Brisbane.
His current appointments:
- Visiting Medical Officer, Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
- Specialist Anaesthetist Wesley Anaesthesia and Pain Management.
- Royal Australian Air Force Specialist Reserve.
Dr Cook special Interests include:
- Anaesthesia for orthopaedics, ophthalmology and paediatrics ( https://youtu.be/tNR2eJJywq4 )
- Military Medicine: Dr Cook has served in East Timor and Iraq and was awarded a Conspicuous Service Cross for his role in the Bali bombings evacuation in 2002. He is currently a Squadron Leader in the reserves.
- Aid Work: Dr Cook regularly assists on aid trips in Australia in indigenous communities and in the Asia Pacific region.
- Sports Medicine: Medical team for Qld Reds and Wallabies rugby union.
